it may be very saddening and hurting to us that we got out of the semi-finals. but for the sec ones, get back at them strong and hard. work hard with your team to get into the semi-finals. we know you can do it. have more confidence. for the sec twos, let's work and train even harder. harder than any of us would ever expect ourselves to be. let's get back at mgs and nanhua stronger, better, faster, harder, fiercer and also, a winner. it's a fact that we are out of the semi-finals, which probably is the result of mgs's complacency. if they played with the standard they played with us, nobody would ever expect that they would lose to nanhua. never ever. let's show them the nanyang c'div 2009 which became nanyang b'div 2010. we'll no longer be beaten by them. we'll no longer be thrashed by them. we'll no longer let our fate be decided by them. let's all fight for what we want, fight for our common goal - to win. there are many 'ifs' in our life. if we concentrated and did better in the mgs match, we would have gotten into the semi-finals. if we knew our journey was going to end so soon, we'll have treasured all our trainings with one another. if we knew we were such a step so close to the semi-finals, we would have given our all and strive to the very end for the mgs match. if, if, if. the ifs that had never happened when it needed to, the ifs we regretted not doing. let us turn the ifs into what happened. turn the ifs to history that would never happen again. put our courtplay properly. play our game. as we always say, we love netball. we love our team. people may say: results are not everything, experience that we gained is what matters. to them, it may be the case. but to us, results are as important because it shows our training, it shows our determination. perhaps it was our mentality of losing to mgs on court that defeated us. perhaps it was the mindset that we would never win mgs. we are wrong. we won nanhua, they won mgs. doesn't this prove that nothing is impossible? nanyang netball is not one that would be defeated so easily as the others think. we're gonna stand back on our feet, strong and hard. we're going to prove to them that nanyang netball is not as weak and easy to defeat as they expect. we should be proud of ourselves that we worked hard for the nanhua game, as a team. we worked really hard and got what we had supposed to get as a result, win them. and now, we lost by goal difference, not matches. it may seem unfair, it is, to me. we didn't even manage to put up a fight, our fate being determined by mgs's play on court versus nanhua. like what some of us may say, we'll never wear our jersey back on rv's court for the year anymore. no longer anymore for this year. it may sound saddening but it is nothing more but the truth. but we should still be glad, we strived for our very best for the nanhua and yusof ishak match. although not being able to enter the semi-finals may be something that hurt us and caused us to shed many tears, but rather than thinking of the saddening parts, at the very least, we learnt that every match counts. i believe all of us hates losing by goal difference. this shows that we have to strive for every single match. who cares if they are mgs or rv or nanhua? nothing is impossible. nothing, for us. we may still be upset, but putting on a brave front till now, but at the very least, there's gonna be a time for ourselves to get back on our feet and train hard for the seasons next year. all of us, regardless of whether we're going to enter the b division school team or not. all of us plays a part in nanyang netball. let's all treasure our very last moments with the four sec ones in c division 2009, let's enjoy our very last moments with coach, at the very last training. this may be piercing to the heart, but we'll be training with the four sec ones in year 2010 again. let's just tahan for this one year. and we'll miss coach, all of us knows it. the time we spent together as an entire c division 2009 and coach are the moments that none of us would ever forget. these are the times that we truly enjoyed and loved. the journey has been shortened, but let's say hi to a new year, a new b division 2010, a new nanyang they would see. let's promise and swear to do our very best, and get back on our feet soon. jiayous nanyang netball. saddened we may stay, but i believe we'll definitely be able to get back on our feet, as one whole team.
